THE DEATH OF ENVIRONMENTALISM

“not one of America’s environmental leaders is articulating a vision of the future commensurate with the magnitude of the crisis,”

Al parecer argumentan que los expertos en medio ambiente actuales son “no longer capable of dealing with the world’s most serious ecological crisis.”

“With fond memories, a heavy heart and a desire for progress, I say to you tonight . . . Environmentalism is dead,” [...] “Every significant indicator of global environmental health is heading in the wrong direction. Storms and droughts are increasing in frequency and severity. Anti-environmental conservatives control all three branches of the federal government . . . It is at moments like these that we need to take a hard look in the mirror. The failure is not unique to environmentalism. Our death is a symptom of the exhaustion of the liberal project.”
